Freehand typeface, and illustrated with color copies of 12 original watercolors by the artist. One poem is printed and illustrated on each side. Hand-bound in decorative paper over boards, with letter-pressed title-plate pasted on cover and matching paper band. Limited to 20 copies, numbered and signed by Carol Cunningham. This little accordion book is so pretty that you’ll be tempted to delay gratification and just hold it in your hand to linger over the cover detail and the little paper label. The pleasure continues as you remove the band and take your time to unfold and discover each side. The poetry is beautifully complemented by Carol’s bright watercolor paintings. $85   |
