A description of a performance by the American Indian Dance Theater, with
background information on the theatre, and featuring quotes from Black Elk
and Luther Standing Bear. This book exemplifies how enamored Carol has been
with American Indian life since she was a child. She used to want to be
an archaeologist, and found some Indian arrow heads in Michigan where her
family went for vacations each summer. This book will bring pleasure to
all those who seek to know more about native American culture and the thrilling
art and tradition of American Indian Dance.
