Limited to 55 copies numbered and signed by Carol Cunningham (55 copies
were printed, of which 50 were numbered 1-50--only 28 of these have ever
been bound; the five further bound copies marked A-E were given to Marcie
Collin)
“There he saw some boots at a shoemaker’s stall.” A retelling
of an old fable from the Middle East, with twenty clever hand-colored drawings
by Marcie, who had lived for a time in the Middle East. A prudent moral
for any would-be desert traveler. The camel illustrations are particularly
charming!
